At Shenzhen Bao'an International Airport (SZX), the Lost & Found department assists passengers in recovering lost items within the airport premises. However, it's important to understand the scope of their responsibility:

Limited Liability: The airport facilitates the retrieval of lost items but generally does not assume legal responsibility for personal belongings lost within its premises.
Retention Period: Found items are typically held for up to 90 days. After this period, unclaimed items may be disposed of according to airport policies.
Verification Process: To claim a lost item, you must provide valid identification and a detailed description of the item. If someone else is retrieving the item on your behalf, they will need a signed authorization letter from you and copies of both your and their valid IDs.
