Are Airport responsible for lost items?

Lanseria International Airport generally does not assume responsibility for lost items unless the loss results directly from gross negligence or willful misconduct by the airport itself. According to the airport's Terms & Conditions, users are responsible for securing and protecting their personal property while at the airport. The airport disclaims liability for any loss or damage to personal items unless it can be proven that such loss was solely caused by the airport's gross negligence or willful conduct.
