Do you have questions about how missinge works?
All security professionals and airport/airlines staff are required to return found items to the lost & found office. These items are securely managed through a technology-enabled database, ensuring every detail is recorded. Rest assured, anything you misplace is in safe hands
The time to find a lost item at an airport or airline can vary, depending on the nature of the item and the Lost & Found department's policies. On average, it takes about 10 days to locate a lost item.
Airports and airlines are not responsible for items lost by passengers, so they charge a standard Lost & Found fee to search for any lost item. Our fee includes the official Lost & Found fee and shipping charges.
The Lost & Found fee already includes shipping charges, but it covers only up to 2,000 miles. Passengers must bear the additional cost for any extra distance.
